Friendship Worship Center is a host to numerous different
ministries, forwarding God's Glory in as many ways as possible.
Included below is a breakdown of these ministerial services.
Please take some time to review all that we have to offer.
Friendship
Worship Center Sunday Services:
Regular Morning Worship Service - 10:30 AM
Agape Catering
Ministry - We provide Rental
Space in a Christian atmosphere for celebrating birthdays, banquets,
receptions, meetings, etc. Food service is provided for these
affairs. All catering is done on the premises with qualified
cooks. Our banquet hall can accommodate 300 persons. We also
have small rooms; our small chapel can accommodate 100 people.
The Main Sanctuary can accommodate up to 400 people and with
the removable of the petition an additional 800 seats which
is a combine total of 1200 seats.
Adjutants Ministry
- These are people who have been called by God to serve the
Bishop and the First Family. They are responsible to ensure
that their temporal needs are met. Let the greatest among you
be your servant.
Bible Study
- is designed to equip the members of the body of Christ in
order to empower them to do the work of the ministry.
Christian Aerobics
- The purpose is to get our bodies physically and mentally fit
for spiritual warfare. Every Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:45
p.m. to 8 p.m.
Christian Education
-Education offered from a Christian perspective as we explore
the Bible and implement the Bible
in our daily walk and occupation. Every
 Sunday
morning at 9.
We minister to people of all ages.
Children's
Ministry - is to train and develop children into the person
of Jesus the Christ. We seek to offer Christ Jesus to children
on their level.
Counseling Ministry
- Counselors are available upon request to pray and encourage
people who are in need of strength as they encounter the fiery
darts of our enemy, Satan.
Family
Worship -We seek to bring about wholeness to the family.
This is accomplished through encouraging and implementing the
family into our worship experience by worshipping God. Every
Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.
- Every Wednesday Evening at 7:30 p.m.
 Greeter's
- The Greeter's provide a spirit of hospitality to all worshippers
who come to our church home.
In
Home Worship Service - We bring the church to your home
to strengthen the sick and the shut in; that need the encouragement
of those who are strong. The Bible commands us to let the strong
bear the infirmities of the weak.
Intercessory
Prayer Ministry - The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous
availeth much. We are commanded to pray without ceasing. Here
at Friendship Worship Center we have a strong emphasis on Prayer.
Prayer is offered daily during office hours and Sunday at 10 a.m.
 Media
Ministry-The gospel of Jesus Christ is transmitted through
audio and visual devices. Audio and visual tapes are available
after every service of the preaching and teaching ministry here
at Friendship.
Music Ministry
- We are commanded to sing unto the Lord a new song. The music
ministry of this church provides an opportunity to express our
gratitude and admiration to God through song. The music ministry
is open to all ages.
Usher's Ministry
- The Usher's ministry provides our worshippers assistance in
seating, and comfort as they come to enjoy the presence of the
Lord during our worship experience.
Women's Fellowship - The women
fellowship ministry is designed to address issues that are affecting
women. This ministry is established to strengthen and inform
women of their God given potential as recorded in the Bible.
The Women Fellowship meets every Third Saturday.
Youth Ministry - The Pre Teen
and Adolescence years are the most critical times in the life
of a young person. Young people are under greater attack during
this period than any one stage of their life. We seek to help
them to identify themselves and offer Christ as the model to
reflect. The youth ministry of this church allows the youth
to be youth and yet provide activities that Christ Jesus could
be glorified.
Adopt a School Program - Friendship
Worship Center has adopted A.B. Davis Middle School of Mount
Vernon as a prime supporter in the educational process of our
children. We provide our facility, encouragement to the administration,
and assistance in whatever areas the administration deem necessary.
 Community
Services - We offer our building as a tool to build bridges
with community agencies that are impacting people lives. We
have opened our doors to: Board Of Cooperative Education Service
(Southern Westchester), Vernon Manor Management Group, Alpha
Kappa Sorority, The Black Educators of America, AARP, different
churches.
